REPAIRS

CONDITIONS OF GUARANTEE

The Nathan-Baume creations in which you place your trust are rigorously checked before

each sale. The product is made of real leather and may have irregularities in appearance

or colour, which are characteristic of natural materials.

 

Therefore, if a problem due to a material or manufacturing defect occurs with this product, Nathan-Baume will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product in accordance with

the general conditions of this guarantee. This warranty is intended exclusively for the first purchaser or beneficiary of the product.

 

The warranties described herein cover only manufacturing defects and do not cover damage caused by misuse or unreasonable use, improper maintenance, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, stains, colour changes or other non-functional changes in the appearance of the product are also excluded.

Incidental or consequential damages are explicitly excluded from the warranty. Labour costs and damage due to work carried out by third parties are not covered by this warranty.

 

In order to benefit from the guarantee in the after-sales service, you must have the original proof of purchase. The service department will then determine whether or not the problem is covered by the Nathan-Baume guarantee. If the warranty is applicable, we will inform you whether the product will be repaired or replaced. This repair or replacement will be at Nathan-Baume's expense, including the costs required to send you the repaired or replacement product. If the product to be replaced is no longer available, Nathan-Baume will offer a product of similar value.

REPAIRS

Before we can help you in the best possible way, please contact customer service via the e-mail address info@nathan-baume.be. Please do not return your product directly to Nathan-Baume. However, you are responsible for the costs of transporting the product - including, but not limited to, packaging, shipping and applicable taxes - to the service department.

Always mention the order number with your problem. Include a clear explanation of how the damage occurred.

 

The costs of repairs that are no longer under warranty depend entirely on the item and the damage. If we agree to carry out the repair, we will send you an estimate.

You have the following options: 

  • If you accept the quote. On receipt of your payment of the proforma invoice covering the costs, we will repair the item and return it to you immediately after repair. Our repair times are indicative only.

  • If you do not agree with the estimated price and wish to have the item back. We reserve the right to charge you an investigation fee. You are responsible for the shipping costs. After we have received your payment, we will return the item to you. 

  • If you do not agree with the quote and do not wish to receive the item back. The item becomes our property.

 

It is your responsibility to properly pack your return shipment to protect the item during transport. Goods always travel at the sender's risk. Nathan-Baume can therefore not be held responsible for loss, theft or damage during transport, without this list being exhaustive.
